Guidelines for whereabouts submission
Who shall provide whereabouts
International-level Athletes are obliged to provide whereabouts information in ADAMS.
International-level Athletes are defined as (a) athletes registered in the IWF’s Registered Testing Pool (IRTP) and/or (b) athletes taking part in an IWF Event as defined in the IWF Anti-Doping Policy.
In accordance with the rules of the IWF Anti-Doping Policy IRTP Athletes are required to provide whereabouts for the whole year quarterly.
The submission deadlines for each quarter are as follows:
Q1 – 15 December 2019
Q2 – 15 March 2020
Q3 – 15 May 2020
Q4 – 15 September 2020
Further to the above athletes who are not listed on the IWF’s Registered Testing Pool but wish to participate in an IWF events shall provide accurate and complete whereabouts information as set out in 5.6.5 of the IWF Anti-Doping Policy for a period of at least two months prior to the IWF Event in question. If the IWF Event is a World Championship (Youth, Junior and/or Senior), then the period shall be of at least three months prior to the event in question. An athlete who does not comply with this provision is not eligible to compete at the IWF Event.
From 2019 the IWF entered into an agreement with the International Testing Agency (ITA), from this point forward inclusion letters of IRTP athletes are sent out by ITA to the Member Federations.
Member Federations are obliged to inform their Athletes of their inclusion and are to send back to ITA the “Athlete Acknowledgement Form” signed by their athletes.
From notification of inclusion athletes are obliged to submit whereabouts for the determined quarter until the deadline set out in the notification letter.
How can I register to
The registration process to ADD NEW ATHLETE is the following:

Please make sure that the submitted personal data is correct and that there is no chance of duplication of the athlete’s profile (perhaps created by other Anti-Doping Organizations).
HOW SHALL I PROVIDE THE WHEREABOUTS?
You are required to be precise when submitting whereabouts informaiton. Please make sure to provide the POSTAL CODE / ZIP besides other information such as Street address, Country, Town/City and Region of your location. The provided information shall be complete and accurate to properly identify your/the athlete’s location for out of competition anti-doping control.
Please ensure that you keep your athletes/your whereabouts up-to-date to ensure eligibility for upcoming events.
